Extreme Miniatures
Five excellent and world-class miniature paintings from a Mexican artist. This artist recently suffered a detached retina so it is doubtful if he can produce minute quality again. All paintings are made on copper, All paintings are under very old bubble glass which can distort the photo reproduction of the painting, none the less, these paintings are of the highest quality when seen in the original.
Numbered from left to right, and from top to bottom.
1. San Ysidro. Size is 1 7/8" by 2 1/4" without the frame. The frame is 3" by 4 1/8". The painting on this piece is surrounded by a mother-of-pearl border. A most excellent painting priced at $325.
2. Virgin of Guadalupe. Size is 1 7/8" by 2 1/4" without the frame. The frame is 3" by 4 1/8". The painting on this piece is surrounded by a mother-of-pearl border. A most excellent painting priced at $325.
3. El Nino de Atocha. Size is 2 1/4" by 2 7/8" without the frame, and 3" by 4 3/4" with the frame. The frame is made in the old style nicho format and is copper. A wonderful piece for $325. This piece is SOLD
4. Santiago Matamoros. Size is 1 7/8" by 2 1/4" without the frame. The frame is 3" by 4 1/8". The painting is not surrounded by a mother-of-pearl border. A most excellent painting priced at $325.
5. La Purisima Concepcion. Size is 1 7/8" by 2 3/8" without the frame. The frame is 3 1/2" by 4". The painting on this piece is surrounded by a tin frame taht has four panel of reverse painting on glass. A great piece priced at $325. This piece is SOLD

Some of the extreme miniatures required many months to paint as only a very small portion could be done at one time, then had to dry before another small portion could be added.
