Size of frame is 21.5 inches by 27 inches.
Condition is very good with a minor abraision at upper right..

Santo Domingo,  Saint Dominic
Mexican, Late 18th c. or  Early 19th Century.
Oil on Jute, 16.5 by 22 inches with out frame.  Frame is 22 by 28..

A wonderful painting of Santo Domingo.  The colors are vibrant and cheerful.  In the lower left corner is a dog.

Santos Medardo & Gildardo
Mexican, 19th c.
Oil on linen.   Size is 25 by 33.25 inches.  Frame is 31.75 by 40.5 inches.
Condition is excellent.
A very rare subject matter of San Medardo and San Gildardo.  Colors are strong and vibrant - - the green drapes compliment the mauve robes very well.   Quite decorative and charming.

San Francisco de Javier,  Saint Francis Xavier
Origin:  Bolivia
MATERIAL: Oil on linen, placed on wood panel.
APPROXIMATE SIZE:  9 1/4 by 12 3/4 inches,.
AGE:  c. late 18th century to early 19th century.
CONDITION: Excellent.
ADDITIONAL COMMENTS:  A very rare subject matter for a devotional painting.  San Francisco of Javier is usually shown in his black Jesuit habit, opening up his frock/habit/vestment to expose his bleeding heart which refers to his ardent religious fire (blood) for his apostolic works.  He greatly cared for lepers and helped in their suffering.  It is said that he converted millions in the far east to Christianity.
