Size is 16 by 21 inches without a frame. Frame is 21.5 by27 inches.
Condition is very good.
This Baroque painting shows Maria, Nino Jesus and Santa Anna in the foreground with Jose and Joachim in the rear which is quite unusual. Normally, Mary, Jose and Nino Jesus are shown in foreground. Santa Anna and Joachim are the parents of Mary which is why they are considered part of the Holy Family.
This painting shows paint craquele throughout which is consistant with the age. On the upper right, there is a small area of rubbed paint, but it does not distract from the wonderful look of the painting.
A very striking and decorative painting.
